Join us in Sierra Leone during the October half-term for an epic one-off adventure, Run Bo - A Street Child Sierra Leone Marathon.
This is an exclusive event with limited spaces and the first time we have ever held an event like this in Bo, a city in the east of Sierra Leone - so a brand new opportunity for you to explore somewhere new whilst seeing the impact that Street Child have made over the years.
Choose to run off the beaten track, discovering the beauty that Sierra Leone has to offer. Winding through tropical jungle and local villages, the varied routes will showcase some of the most stunning scenery that Sierra Leone has to offer.
From our full and half marathon course to a 5km option, there is something for all running abilities.
Regardless of the distance you complete, each race will provide you with a unique perspective on this beautiful country, as well as a challenge for body and mind.
This trip is so much more than just an awesome event. You will have the opportunity to discover Sierra Leone with like-minded individuals, attend workshops and discover more about Street Child's work.
Your epic racing adventure will begin at dawn, starting and finishing for one-time only in Bo, where you will receive a hand-carved medal!
After a well-deserved rest that evening, you then have the option to take a triumphant flight home or continue your journey to one of Sierra Leone’s tropical beaches.
However you design your trip, one thing is certain: the Sierra Leone Marathon will provide the adventure you are looking for.

The accommodation is a basic and simple style room with private bathroom and a mosquito net will be provided.
Electricity supply is limited.
There is water for washing but running water may be limited. No WIFI.
There are no lobby / common areas. Breakfast will be provided and drinking water is provided throughout your stay.

There is electricity, running water and air conditioning (subject to there being no supply issues). A mosquito net provided. The hotel has a pool and bar to relax in during down-time.
Breakfast provided by the Hotel and drinking water is provided throughout your stay.
The premium package is the most comfortable package option.
